Bedtime Snuggles

Often Ashley will decide to come downstairs after she's been tucked in and want to lay on the couch with me and snuggle.  She usually falls asleep within 5 minutes of doing this and either Don or I will carry her upstairs.   I know most people would be stricter and make her go back to bed, but I've been through this at various times with the other two and I know it's something she will eventually stop.  For now I just enjoy her cuddles.   :)

Family Halloween Party

We were able to have Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Becca at our family Halloween party this year.We played all of our favorite Halloween games, danced to our favorite Halloween music, and had a lot of silly fun.  The girls carved great pumpkins.  Daddy helped Emily carve hers, I helped Ashley and this was Alexis' first year carving her own.  She did great and only needed minimal help from me.  We ended the party with witch hat treats and watched "The Halloween That Almost Wasn't."

Trick or Treat!

We had a great night for trick or treat this year.  It was warm enough we didn't even need jackets.  The girls got lots of candy and we had so much fun.  Ashley was most excited about a coupon for a free frosty she received from one house.  She had no idea what it was, though.  She just ran up to me so excited and announced, "Mommy, look!  I got a special Halloween message just for me!"  :)

Pigeon Roost Farm 2012

I love our annual tradition of going to Pigeon Roost farm.  It's something we always look forward to and always have so much fun and this year was no exception!  The weather was perfect, and we spent hours just walking around and playing together.
