Daddy's Birthday

This is the way Daddy spent his birthday today - building blocks and playing games.  We also had a couple of gifts for him and some cake and ice cream.  We're very thankful for this wonderful daddy.

Lazy Summer Afternoons

This is the way she prefers to spend her summer days.  She is always reading and regularly has 8 - 12 books going at one time.  She likes to savor each book and hates coming to end of a book or series since that means saying goodbye to the characters she has gotten to know.  She has such a rich inner imagination and loves going places in her mind - much like her mother.
