We had the chance to meet and visit with Skip and Emma, who just moved to Indianapolis while we were there. They are such a sweet family and Ashley especially loved playing with their little girls. We had Family Home Evening together at our hotel, went swimming, and everyone went out to eat together after the temple open house.

I Love to See the Temple
We had a unique opportunity to take our children inside the temple for an open house. They got to see all the beautiful rooms before it is dedicated. Such a beautiful, special day.

Indianapolis Children's Museum
We took a mini vacation to Indianapolis to see the new temple open house. While we were there we decided to spend a day at the children's museum. It was a cute place and so many exhibits. After visiting a couple of different floors we had lunch I had packed for everyone. I was getting pretty tired then, so Daddy found an exhibit with some big comfy chairs. Perfect! So he left me there to relax while he took the kids around and looked at all the exhibits on that floor. I was very thankful for his consideration. Everyone had a great time.

Girl's Camp 2015
Alexis had another fabulous year at Girl's Camp! She made some new friends, tried some new things, won the camp service award for the second year in a row, and had a wonderful time. And we are so glad she is now home!

Doll Tea Party
Alexis has a fairy doll named Wanda. When she was 4 we were shopping at Target and she saw her and fell in love, so I bought her. She played with her for years and slept with her at night. She still has a treasured place in her room. This morning Ashley asked Alexis if Wanda could attend a tea party with one of her doll friends, so Alexis agreed. This is what I found in the playroom. It looks like they were having a lovely time.

Summers Outside
Running around barefoot, giggles while swinging, riding bikes and trikes, playing Mommy with doll friends........these are some of the sweet memories I will hold in my heart of my precious little ones.

Dragons and Joy
This morning Emily and Ashley both spent some time in artistic pursuits. Emily drew her first dragon. Apparently it's a baby girl dragon named Tana. We took the kids to see Inside Out Monday afternoon and Ashley drew these little stick puppets of the characters. She's been using them to make stories and "teach Adam all about emotions." I love seeing them having fun and blossoming in their artistic abilities.July 14

Deer
Every so often we get to see deer up close in our backyard. Definitely one of the many perks of country living.

Madeline and the Little Princess
Ashley loves to play dress up and thankfully has a very obliging baby brother that will allow her to dress hum up in anything.

4th of July Fun!
We headed into Granville today to watch the 4th of July parade. It was excellent, as usual, and the kids collected a ton of candy. We even saw a couple of church friends marching in the bands. Then we headed back to the house to play some fun water games. We ended the day with spectacular fireworks. It was a perfect Independence Day.
